Dear Ms. Alison,

I learned so much in Athena’s Path! I learned new games, about unhealthy friendships, about criticism and if someone insults me what to do. I can ignore it, walk away, or use one of my funny comebacks.

I have a better idea of who I am now because I learned so much in this program. I also made a bunch of new friends.

I learned how to “fake it till you make it”. I wouldn’t change anything about Athena’s Path. It’s perfect the way it is.

Athena’s Path was so much fun and I hope you will have it again next year. I loved having the guest speakers and I loved playing the games. I learned so much about myself and other girls. I have set three goals for myself. 1) Be more confident with myself. 2) Be a leader not a follower. 3) To just believe that I can do it.

Dear Michelle,

I probably liked the Happiness Journals most of Athena’s Path. They made me take time during the day to appreciate things that make me happy. I also liked the role playing we did along with actually practicing what we were learning.

I learned how to exit an unhealthy relationship, the importance of self-confidence, what my values are, and who I should look up (role models). I also learned the proper way of shaking hands, giving and receiving compliments, and how to respond when something negative is said right to your face. I learned so many valuable lessons at Athena’s Path that will last me a lifetime.

Dear Ms. Cobb,

Walking into the [Athena’s Path] room I didn’t know what to expect. Would it be the same as last year? What’s “Cobb” like? Well, I didn’t have to worry, it was just as great as last year.

I liked everything! The games, the lessons, the people, everything!!!

I learned about everything from self-esteem, shaking hands, to elevators, confidence, to walking through walls.

Confidence will help me this year entering a new HUGE school. It will be nice to know that I have the ability to make new friends.

Dear Michelle,

I really loved the Athena’s Path workshop. I liked that we could express our feelings and tell secrets and no one would say anything to anyone. I like that we could meet new people and have fun with them. I loved that everyone was so honest and told their wildest stories. I am glad I had a chance to do this workshop so I can get through middle school easily. I would not change anything about the camp because it was fun and cool.

If I have the chance I would definitely do it again next summer. I think I enjoyed it more and learned more than I did last summer.

Hey Michelle,

Thanks a million for Athena’s Path. I really enjoyed it. I learned how to deal with comments and criticism, friendship and bullies. I thought it was good how everyone could talk to each other in the group and weren’t embarrassed to share their feelings. I realized how easy it is deal with problems the right way.

I thought it was wonderful the way you inspired all the girls. It was really interesting to hear the guest speakers and girls talk about their inspiring stories!

All your hard work paid off because Athena’s Path was great and I would
love to do it again.

I really did like Athena’s Path. Well, I really LOVED it! It built up my confidence and made me brave. This course has helped me so much words can’t even explain how it brought my life around.

Dear Ms. Cobb a.k.a. Cobb,

This past week at [Athena’s Path] camp has been so much fun.

I learned all about friendship, careers, criticism and about everything a girl would probably need to know when they are going into middle school.

I liked when we played all sorts of games and wrote and read our magazines. My favorite game was Pink and Orange. My favorite lesson was Criticism. I think this will help people the most because I know what it feels like to get criticized. I am so glad I was a part of this camp.
